Are you there, God? It's me, Robb
- Entry for August 22, 2005
- Hey everyone. Before you say anything, stop -- I know what you're thinking. You're saying to yourself, "Robb, please, enough already."
Well, here's the deal. I've set up this site for the millions of Americans who won't leave me alone, who keep begging for more and more pictures of the kids, and updates on how they're doing.
So what I've done is take a lotta the guesswork out of it. Every so often, I'll post a few new photos of the kids here. When I do, an e-mail will go out to you. You can come have a look, or you can delete the email immediately without another word. Wouldn't bother me a bit if you chose to not look at pictures of the two people in the world who mean more to me than anything, who make me cry for joy on a daily basis, who remind me everyday how precious life is and how we should ... hold on a minute ..... ...... ........... OK, back. Just had to rough up Sam a little bit. His incessant coughing and 103 fever and lethargy and blah blah blah! Sheesh kid! I mean, how many times can one kid complain that his fevel feels "like the fires of Satan are burning me alive!!!" Whatever dude. Who hasn't felt that way before? Get over it, we're trying to sleep!
Yeah, Sam's been sick. So has Emma. They both had strep during the past few weeks and, while it almost prevented Emma from vacation Bible school and Sam from attending a birthday party for his buddy Brady, all is basically well. We're keeping Walgreens in business, what with our ... lets see ... six presciptions for various ailments during the past few weeks. (THESE COPAYS ARE KILLIN' ME!)
But I'll stop rambling. I don't intend this to be heavy reading or, well, any reading at all, really. Just a few nice snapshots of the kids from time to time when we've become tired of watching the dozens of rolls of film pile up in the junk drawer and finally decide to bring them in.
Some of these are from Emma's trip on the Hogwarts Express, some are from Ben Borowske's graduation party, some are from Schmidt birthday parties, etc.
So, enjoy! And feel free to give the kids a call.
